Pet dog mourns owner killed by fire

SANDAKAN SABAH

A man perished in flames while his  pet dog
watched and whined forlornly at the burning
house unable to rescue his  master,

The victim's long time friend,who rushed to
the scene upon learning of the fire,saw the
distressed dog running in the circles around
the wooden stilt house at Jalan Cecily early
yesterday morning,

Wong Wing Sue 53 had seven other siblings
but lived  alone in the family house,
His friend Fung KamFai  quickly informed
the rest of the family  after firemen located
the charred remains in the living room,
The hurried to the scene after being notified,

Three fire engines with 10  personnel were
despatehed to the location upon being aerted
of the blaze at 426 am

According to Sanadakan Fire and Rescue
Station operations officer,Yus Pinsin,90
per cent of the wooden  house was up in
flames by the  time they reached the  scene,

The fire and rescue Forensic, Team  is
investigating to determine the cause of
the  fire and we also still ascertaining the
loses"Yus added,
