A diner at Kong Kee Mutton Soup got a nasty surprise when he found a dead rat in a bowl of soup he ordered on Monday (5 Sept).
Quek Yong Pheng took to Facebook to share his bad experience, posting multiple pictures of the rat he found and the bowl of mutton soup. The post has since gone viral with many commenters asking Quek to report the case to the National Environmental Agency (NEA). As of Wednesday, the post had been shared almost 900 times.
Located at Sin Yew Huat Eating House in Jalan Besar, the stall is known for its Chinese-style mutton soup.
