LIVING WITH A TEENAGER

Do you believe  what is known as the double  standard"?In other  words,is it OK for guy s to do things  that girls cant do?I emphatically  do not believe in the double  standard. The  Scripture makes no distnction  between  the saxes when it prohibits immoral behaviou. It  is just ass wrong for a boy  to engage  in premarital  sex as  it is for the girl  to do it. Still, there is a reason why girls have been given a different  code of behavior  than boys in the past.                                                                                    The double  standard  came into being  ,I  think  ,because parents understood that girls  are likely  to get hurt from premarital  sexual encounters Only  females  get pregnant  of course   and  their  complex  reproductive  system   is  more vulnerable to venereal   to venereal  disease and  infections .Girls and women also  have more  to lose emotionally ,They often  feel wounded  and  used  after casual sex,whereas  guys may think  of the experience as another  trophy  to brag about.               Given these difference between the sexes  ,the sexual  revolution was the biggest jokes  men ever played  on women .By convincing them that  the old rule did not apply,men  enticed  women to do what men  have always   wanted women to do  BUT  WHAT A PRICE I WAS PAID for the  new "FREEDOM"And  predictably,women were  the ones  who  got stuck  with most  of the bill                      AGAIN <the moral  sgnificance  of sexual  promiscuity  is the same for both sexes,and sin is  to s to whoever engages in it.Women are usually  the bigger  losers.
