              Tunku Abdul  Rahman Park.                       The   Marine  park is a cluster of five  islands_-Pulau Gaya .Pulau Sapi,Pulau Manukan Pulau mamutic  and Pulau   Sulug about 20 minutes speed-bout ride from the city.   All are  popular destination to relax and picnic,snorkling  and  scubadive.Sea-walking on the seabed  i available off Sabah Parks Base Camp Jetty on Pulau Gaya .The largest of the islands a.Pulau Gaya  is  partly privet -owned and there is a lovely resort  of chalet -above the sea.The  Gayana Resort,which also undertakes a Reef Project  .Aquarium,Exhibits explain  their programme--particular interest are the giant  clams. Manukan is the second largest island,it has accommodation and restaurant facilities. Boats to the Island visitors to the Island are advised to utilise ONLY licensed boat from the Kota KinabaluJetty terminal,located at the Sabah Port.nect  to the Royal Customs Office. and licened operators at the Sutera  Harbour and many  more.

The  beauty  and ugliness of  Mangkabong,It is a breathtaking   but no farther inside one can find it as dirty as anything  .This place  is located  not far from Tuaran town.  Penduduk  di tampat ini  ada lah nelayan hampir  setiap hari  mereka ke  pekan Tuaran untok menjual  hasil tengkapan  mereka.Penduduk  disni ada lah bangsa Bajau.             Mereka bernasip baik kerana  kerjaan memberi  mereka  tempat tinggal percuma.                  NORTH  BORNEO RAILWAY                    The 1880's  brought  great change  to Borneo as the British  North  Borneo Company sold acres and acres on interior  lands to planters for the cultivation of crops.Many found their plots of land in the middle of tropical jungles with no possible form of communiction or  transportation.Earlier  plantations  transported their  harvests  on foot or on animals.A railway into the heart of Borneo became necessary.In 1896 ,the railway from the interior  reached Weston,the new port on Brunei Bay.                                 However  the water at Weston were found to be too shallow for a wharf and so it was devided  to extend the line northwards  to Jesselton  .The locomotive used were steam-powered. Today  one can journey  back into the colonial days of  British North Borneo on board ,the   North Borneo Railway's mid -20th century  British'Vucan' steam engine train. Built and  operated to the highest international service standard ,the train,which can  take 180 passengers, consists of five  refubbished colonial style carriages. Thank you my friend  out there.

Getting around  in Kota Kinabalu i easy;taxis,buses cars for hire are easily available .Malay is the national language and  Sabah has more than 30 ethnic communities,each have their own language and dialects.But no to worry, English is widly spoken as well as many dialects of Chinese,A leisurely stroll  around KK's main business and shopping areas will take you to shopping complexes such as Centre Point,Wisma Merdeka,KK Plaza,Plaza Wawasan  and Karamunsing  Complex.In  Malaysia there are many Duty-free items including  cosmetics,perfumes, jewellery ,watches and eletronic items  and many more                                        Restaurants and Dining     ...                         KK offers fine restaurants that serve popular Malaysian dishes as well as international  cuisines including westen.Japanese,Korean Italian  and Thai.Sabah is the best place in Malaysia for good seafood.For local everyday  favourite,there are rice and noodle  .

The Ingredients of Thai Style Squid Salad...Dried (jiu-or yau yi).prescaked-1 onion  shredded-50g green mango shredded-30 g carrots shredded--1 spring coriander leaves chopped --3 in dried chillies  fried in until crisp and crushed (optional)-- seasoning (combined)-2 tbsp lime juice 1 red chilli chopped or sliced--3 bird's eye chillies chopped or sliced--1 stalk lemongrass finel y sliced --1 tbsp sesame oil--1 1/2tbsp fish sauce--2 tbsp sugar to taste.      THE  METHODS       1   score the inner part of the pre-soaked dried squid to form  criss-cross paterns  .blanch it in boiling  water for 1 minute,dish out and drain .Cut into sizes. (2)In a large mixing bowl,combine the seasoning  ingredient and mix well, seasoning to taste.(3)Add in the squid ,onion, mango, carrot  and coriander.toss to mix well and serve. thank you.

The Korean Rose  mallow...In Europe and the cooler parts of Asia and the cooler places  in the hill  of Sabah, the Korean Rose -Mallow,Hibiscus-syriacus  with blue purple flowers grows well but it dose not grow well in the lowlandsThe species is instantly recognisable however,by the bluish -purple colour of  its flowers which no others Hibicuis  has,though white and pink -flowered varieties -single and double are common in cooler climates one in Sabah,Like the Bunga Raya ,it is native to Asia,but was first came from Syria thus syriacus  but in fact was only grown there as garden plant.In Korea it has been grown for centuries and is now South Koreas  national-flower.According toWikipedia, the local name is mu-gong-hwa and the flowers simbolic significance stems from the Korean words mugung which means eternity.ADA SAMBUNGAN LAGI INI........

Mantabuan Island is not far from Tigabu  Island is a tiny white sand beach island  named Mantabuan,If you ever dream to  visit  Mantabuan island you will shock to find what  you see.there,Some years ego Mantabuan Island  ,it was not occupied by human and no turtle nest because it is submerged during high tide.But now it is occupied by sea gypsy and a mixsure of Cagayan  and Balabac .This sea gypsy is increasing on a daily basis. What do they do for their lives ?They are fish bombing  human,sea gypsy  ,they are backword  human .Their fishing method is bombing ,cyanide fishing and hand or pole line angling---largely destructive fishing which they had practised  in their home town in the Philippines that depleted their fish  stock and  destroyed the reefs  there .And now they migrated the same destructive practices down south into OUR Sabah.. A HUGE  SPREAD OF BOMBED  SALTED FISH UNCOVERED RECENTLY  IN KAMPONG BALAMBANGAN ISLAND....DESTRCUTIVE FISHING.....
