Two Police killed as gunmen attact Afghan bank on payday

KANDAHAR;

Afghanistan gunmen stormed a bank
in southern Afghanistan killing
at least two policemen in a  continuing
stand-off as the country endures a rise
in violence while foreign troop pull-out.

The attackers forced their way inside
after setting off an explosive device at
the entrance of the Kabul bank branch
in Lashkat Gah,the capital of the insurgency
racked province of Helmand.

"After the blast three attackers entered
the building "Omar Zhwak provncial spokesmen
for  Helmand told.

The police followed them So far two police have
been killed and five people including three
police were wounded One attackers was killed.

Official were unable to say any civilians were
trapped inside the bank. There was no immediate
claim of responsibility for the attack on Kabul
Bank..
