KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 — PKR lawmaker Rafizi Ramli is expecting to be arrested any time now for allegedly leaking a classified federal audit report on state-owned 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
The Pandan MP cheekily added that he hoped the police will at least provide him with a KFC meal if he was detained long.
“It is expected. Just make sure that they get me nice KFC while I'm in there," he told Malay Mail Online today when contacted.
Rafizi added that he was willing to cooperate with any investigations but requested the authorities to look into the issues that he had raised as well.
"I'm prepared to give statements to assist any investigations if required.
"At the same time, they should investigate what I've raised about LTAT and other issues that have been brought to light from the documents that I have disclosed," he said.At the Dewan Rakyat lobby yesterday, Rafizi claimed to have an excerpt of the Auditor-General’s report on 1MDB to prove that the sovereign investment firm was partly to blame for delays in the Armed Forces Fund Board’s (LTAT) gratuity payments.
Malay Mail Online did not report the matter due to restrictions under the OSA.
1MDB has since denied the allegation and accused Rafizi of lying  MALAY  MAIL  ONLINE
